OceanPact has signed a R$443.7m contract with Petrobras to provide specialised pull-out and recovery services for flexible lines. The offshore project focuses on the subsea umbilicals and risers of the P-18 platform, located within the Marlim field in the Campos Basin.
The scope of work involves complex subsea interventions, including underwater inspections, cutting and structural disconnections. To execute these operations, the firm will deploy multipurpose support vessels (MPSVs), remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and heavy-lift cranes.
Multiple business units will collaborate on the development, with the subsea division managing engineering studies and field operations, while navigation assets provide vessel support. Environmental management and safety protocols will be handled concurrently by the firm's dedicated compliance division. This integrated strategy aims to drive operational efficiency and expand the company's presence in the offshore decommissioning market.
