TechnipFMC has announced an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract win for Total Energies’ Lapa North-east field in the pre-salt province of the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.
Planned works will involve the reconfiguration of the project’s umbilicals and flexible pipe. After being installed, the new arrangement will assure production in Lapa.
The contract’s value has not been mentioned, but it is estimated to range between US$75m and US$250m.
The first development phase of the Lapa field, where the Cidade de Caraguatatuba FPSO produces up to 100,000 barrels per day, entered commercial operations in December 2016.
