Renewable Power Capital (RPC) has acquired a 528MW group of ready-to-build wind farms in Sweden. The projects were purchased for €800m and the previous owners were supported by energy advisor Newsec Infra.
The four plants – Knäsjöberget, Sörlidberget, Vitberget and Storhöjden – are placed in the municipalities of Kramfors and Sollefteå.
It has also been disclosed that RPC will be responsible for the projects’ procurement and construction supervision.
After completion, which is expected in late 2025, the farms will generate enough power to supply 182,000 houses.
