Ocean Vantage Holdings has achieved a regulatory milestone following the appointment of two subsidiaries as panel contractors under the Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) Pan Malaysia Integrated Well Continuity Services framework.
Effective from 10 July 2026 to 9 October 2029, the arrangement allows the firm to execute intervention, workover and abandonment activities across the country's upstream oil and gas sector. The comprehensive programme will be utilised by 17 petroleum arrangement contractors operating in Malaysia, including Shell, ExxonMobil and TotalEnergies.
Instead of assigning a fixed contract value, operators will progressively award work orders through competitive mini-bids based on operational requirements. Securing appointments across 10 distinct sub-packages significantly strengthens the group's integrated service offering, facilitating strategic expansion beyond traditional engineering operations.
