Dubai Petroleum has awarded Lamprell an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the Margham gas storage and processing facility in the UAE. Operated by the Dubai Supply Authority, the facility is undergoing expansion as part of the broader Sunrise Development Programme. The project aims to boost gas storage and processing capabilities to meet rising domestic demand while supporting the integration of renewable energy sources across the Emirates.
Under the agreement, Lamprell’s onshore division will manage the engineering, procurement, and construction of civil works, pipe rack structures, and associated infrastructure. Company leadership noted that this award aligns directly with Lamprell’s strategic focus to expand its onshore EPC footprint alongside its established offshore offshore portfolio, reinforcing a long-standing relationship with Dubai Petroleum.
