ADNOC's gas business has announced the conclusion of a three-year contract for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Japan. The agreement, valued at US$450m, determines that ADNOC will be an LNG supplier to JERA Global Markets.
The LNG will be sourced from ADNOC's Das Island liquefaction facilities. Combined, the assets have a total capacity of six million metric tonnes per annum (MMtpa).
JERA Global Markets is jointly owned by JERA (with a 66.7% stake) and EDF Trading (with the remaining 33.3%).
