DeepOcean has been chosen by Woodside Energy to provide subsea inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) services to the company in Senegal. The contractor will be involved in the Sangomar field offshore Senegal.
DeepOcean's work scope is defined by a number of framework agreements and includes project management, engineering and the execution of subsea services such as inspection, survey, intervention, and maintenance.
The field is located approximately 100km south of Dakar. Having entered production earlier this month, it's Senegal's first offshore oil project online.
According to Woodside's projections, Sangomar holds proven and probable reserves of 230 million barrels of oil.
