Denker & Wulf AG has selected Vestas for a turbine order for a wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The contract is related to the Holtsee project, which has an estimated generation capacity of 72MW.
The deal establishes that Vestas will be responsible for the delivery of 10 VB162-7.2MW turbines. The company will also carry out the commissioning of the machines.
Once the plant is operational, which should take place in 2026, the turbines will work under a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
