Sungrow has signed an agreement to supply battery energy storage equipment to a project in Bramley, UK. The facility, which has already acquired all permits, will have a capacity of 100MW/260MWh.
Sungrow will be responsible for providing PowerTitan 2.0 liquid cooled energy storage systems, which includes a power conversion system and battery integrated into a single 20ft container.
The Bramley project, which is scheduled to start operating in 2024, is under development by Penso Power and BW ESS.
This is planned to be the first of a series of battery energy storage plants to be installed in Bramley.
