Havfram Wind has been chosen by RWE and Northland Power as supplier of the Nordseecluster project offshore Germany. To be built in the North Sea, the complex composed by four offshore wind farms will have a capacity of 1.6GW.
Havfram Wind will handle the delivery and installation of a minimum of 104 Vestas wind turbines (each unit with a capacity of 15MW).
Nordseecluster will be built near to the 332MW Nordsee One wind farm, also fully developed and now operated by RWE and Northland Power.
The first turbines of the project are scheduled to enter operations in 2026, with completion of the entire facility in 2029.
