CWP Global has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Djibouti for the development of a green hydrogen hub in the the country, North Africa.
The plant will be powered by 10GW of wind and solar energy and will include cable networks, pipelines, port loading facilities and drinking water for local communities.
Even though the electrolyser capacity has not yet been defined, green ammonia is also considered to be produced for export at the new facility.
