Sempra Infrastructure and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) of Mexico have recently secured a number of agreements for the development of energy infrastructure projects in the country.
These initiatives include the rerouting of the Guaymas-El Oro pipeline, whose activities in Sonora will be resumed by a joint venture between Sempra and CFE.
The Vista Pacífico LNG terminal in Topolobampo, Sinaloa, is also covered by the agreements. The documents allow the LNG project to start engineering phase and licencing process.
The third project to be benefited is a planned LNG terminal in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca, which is still under analysis for the assessment of development potential.
