Bluestone Energy's 49.5MW solar power project in Renfrewshire, Scotland, has been granted planning permission from the government. Named Middleton Farm, the initiative is the largest solar project so far by Bluestone Energy.
Middleton Farm's planning process, which included environmental assessments, community consultations and technical documentation, was carried out by Cogeo Planning & Environmental Services.
A final investment decision (FID) on Middleton Farm is expected next year, with construction soon following. A power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Glasgow and Renfrewshire councils is currently under negotiation.
