Newly appointed board members joining from three different regions bring experience in project logistics, digital transformation, and global talent acquisition to further enhance the EIC mission.
London, 6 Jan 2025 - Energy Industries Council, the world-leading energy trade association, named three experienced professionals to the Company's Board of Directors. With strong, complementary backgrounds across Project Logistics, Digital Transformation and Global Talent Management, EIC is further reinforced by these appointments in its commitment to driving not only innovation but, also the energy supply chain’s ability to export diversify and grow.

The new board members – who join the board from the UK, the United States, and the UAE (respectively) – are Jasmina Tuncheva, Global Tender Manager, Project Sector at Fracht Group, James Prappas, Director at Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC, and Ahmed Alaa, MENA and APAC Sales Director at VOOVIO Technologies.

Jasmina Tuncheva
Global Tender Manager – Project Sector at Fracht Group
Jasmina is a project logistics leader with 25 years of experience working on major capital projects in the energy industry. Working in international teams on some of the world’s largest energy projects has allowed Jasmina to gain in-depth knowledge of the modus operandi of the major energy and engineering & procurement companies. She holds an MBA degree with concentration in Financial Management and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London.
James Prappas
Director at Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC
James Prappas has over 30 years’ experience representing businesses, families and individuals concerning employment-based immigration, family-based immigration and naturalization matters. He regularly assists corporate clients to secure the best talent from around the globe to achieve business goals. As a Board-Certified specialist, James advises Fortune 500, middle-market and emerging companies in U.S. immigration matters relating to the energy, manufacturing and service industries. He advises clients on the international transfer of key personnel, employment and family-based immigration, worksite enforcement and I-9 matters, naturalization and derivative citizenship.
Ahmed Alaa
Sales Director for MENA and APAC at VOOVIO Technologies
Ahmed is the Sales Director at VOOVIO Technologies for MENA and APAC, where he has grown the business and supported companies through their digital transformation journeys. He is also the founder of NexEra Group, a consulting and solutions provider dedicated to innovation and excellence in the energy industry.
