ADNOC has signed a 15-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply deal with EnBW. According to the agreement, EnBW will receive 0.6 million tonnes per annum (MMtpa) of LNG starting 2028, most of which will come from ADNOC's Ruwais LNG plant.
The export terminal in Abu Dhabi is currently under construction and is planned to feature a capacity of 9.6MMtpa. The project involves two LNG processing trains, storage tanks, a jetty and other associated facilities.
Several other supply contrats have already been firmed for Ruwais LNG with clients in Europe and Asia.
