Ørsted has been granted a tax equity financing of US$680m from JP Morgan for the development of solar and energy storage developments in the United States. The portfolio that will be covered by this investment include the Eleven Mile and Sparta projects.
Even Mile Solar Center is located in Pinal County, Arizona and involves the installation of a hybrid 300MW solar and 300MW/1,200MWh storage facility. Sparta Solar, meanwhile, will be a 250MW solar farm in Mineral, Texas.
Both of these projects are scheduled to reach operations later this year.
