Venture Global and Grain LNG establish 16-year terminal use agreement

Venture Global LNG and Grain LNG have firmed a long-term terminal use agreement (TUA) which allows regasification and sale of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from all of Venture Global's terminal in Louisiana, United States.

Thanks to the agreement, Venture Global will be allowed to store and regasify 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG at the Isle of Grain LNG receiving terminal. This will take place over a period of 16 years starting in 2029.

The TUA is subject to federal permits still to be secured.
