GE Vernova has been awarded a wind turbine supply contract for Squadron Energy's 1.4GW of wind power projects in Australia. Located in New South Wales, the projects covered by the contract are the Uungula, Jeremiah and Spicers Creek wind farms.
Although the contract was signed in late 2023, it has just been recently announced by Squadron Energy.
Besides supplying turbines to the 400MW Jeremiah and 700MW Spicers Creek projects, the 414MW Uungula wind farm will also receive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services from GE Vernova.
