Libya Energy Forum at Africa Energies Summit 2026
About this event
The Libya Energy Forum will take place in London on 13 May 2026 as a featured Libya focus within the Africa Energies Summit 2026. Convened by the Libyan British Business Council (LBBC) and held in association with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya, the event will bring together senior Libyan leadership, international oil companies, independents, investors, technical partners and advisers for a day of strategic discussion, targeted networking and direct engagement.
Positioned within the Africa Energies Summit, the forum offers companies and investors with an interest in Libya a timely opportunity to hear directly from NOC leadership on strategic direction, sector priorities and the evolving framework for collaboration.
The discussion programme is expected to cover:
- Unlocking value across Libya’s upstream portfolio
- Libya’s place in the wider global energy landscape
- Gas development and domestic supply potential
- The role of technology and international partnerships
- Workforce development and long-term sector capacity
The forum is particularly relevant for international oil companies and independent operators, EPCs, service companies and technology providers, equipment manufacturers, investors, financiers and commercial advisers, as well as companies assessing market entry, partnerships or project support opportunities in Libya.
For EIC members and the wider energy supply chain, the event provides a commercially relevant platform to better understand Libya’s priorities and where international companies may be able to participate.
Registration via the LBBC gives delegates access on 13 May to the wider Africa Energies Summit, including the Libya-focused sessions and broader networking opportunities across the Summit.
