The EIC is happy to announce the Webinar: Offshore O&G Opportunities in Guyana with Saipem
Join us on March 11th, 2025, for a deep dive into Offshore O&G opportunities within Guyana projects led by Saipem.
Saipem has secured an EPCI contract for subsea structures, risers, flowlines, and umbilicals at ExxonMobil’s Whiptail development in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. The project, at a water depth of 1,630m, is valued between US$750m and US$1.5bn.
Offshore installation will utilize Saipem’s FDS2, Castorone, and Constellation vessels. The company will also leverage its Guyana Offshore Construction Facility in Georgetown and an additional local fabrication site for subsea component assembly.
This contract builds on Saipem’s previous work in Guyana, including Liza, Payara, Yellowtail, and Uaru, reinforcing its role in the region’s offshore sector.
