In this in-depth report, you will read about the Philippine’s major steps towards a sustainable energy future as the country is ramping up its adoption of renewable energy and reduction of its reliance on fossil fuels.

According to the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE), the country aims to increase the renewable share in its power matrix to 35% by 2030 and 50% by 2040. The government is investing in achieving this goal, including the developing the country’s largest wind farm with a capacity of 160MW and the decision to open the sector to foreign ownership.
